Check the results from the Second EFLIP Stakeholders Workshop
The EFLIP project hold its Second Stakeholders Workshop and External Advisory Board Meeting on November 2nd 2020, 11:00 – 12:30 as a Zoom webinar. The Workshop provided an excellent opportunity for discussing the project’s preliminary results with a wide range of local stakeholders, including representatives from the Lombardy Region, the Lombardy Regional Environmental Agency, the Municipality of Milan and the association of companies operating in the Metropolitan City of Milan and in the provinces of Lodi, Monza and Brianza, Pavia (Assolombarda).
The EFLIP team presented the methodology used to estimate damages and losses caused by recent floods in Lombardy Region, and focused on the 2014 Seveso event as an explanatory case. It further discussed upcoming project’s activities, including the assessment of direct and indirect economic impacts of floods on the regional and national economy.

The workshop was the second of four events aimed at reviewing, discussing, co-designing and disseminating the project’s results with public and private organizations working on flood risk in Lombardy and beyond. The next workshop is scheduled for Spring 2021.
